Deborah A. Boutiette (Cox), 57, of Littleton, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 18th, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 4, 1957, in Hudson, Massachusetts, daughter of the late James A. Cox and survived by her mother, Lillian A. Cox of Hudson. She is survived by her loving husband, John R. Boutiette, whom she was married to for 28 years. Devoted mother of Christopher J. Boutiette, Nicole M. Boutiette, and John J. Boutiette, who all loved her so very much. She was survived by her sister, Jo-Ann M. Hayes of Hopedale, Massachusetts and her husband, Michael Hayes and their son, her nephew, Alexander R. Hayes, and her brother, James A. Cox of Clinton, Massachusetts.
Deborah graduated from Hudson High School in 1975 and went onto obtain her Associates Degree. Out of college, she worked at Data General, as an executive secretary and in the HR Dept. She later became a beloved Special Needs Asst. at Russell Street School, where she worked for 15+ years. She also worked a 2nd job at Kimball Farm in the office, where she was loved by all.
She was the rock of the family and was known as the "Mother Hen". Her selflessness and bubbly personality, as well as her ability to give without expecting anything in return made her a beautiful soul. She touched so many people's lives with her kind words, beautiful smile, and contagious laughter. Things she enjoyed included gardening with her husband and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed cooking and country music. Christmas was her favorite time of the year, a time of giving. She will be dearly missed by all.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, Aug. 25th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Sunday, Aug. 24th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com).
