Dennis M. Dyer

Dennis M. Dyer, 78, of Hudson, MA, passed on Sunday, July 14, 2024. He was the beloved husband of 51 years to Maureen P. (Largey) Dyer, also of Hudson, MA.

Dennis was born on November 4, 1945, in Marlborough, MA, to his late parents Frederic Dyer and Lucille (DuPont) Lynch. He was a Marlborough resident, graduating from Marlborough High School with the class of 1963, until moving to Hudson, MA, in 1973, where he would be a resident until his passing.

Dennis was a veteran of the United States Navy, and he served his country proudly during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his wife Maureen (Largey) Dyer of Hudson, MA, Dennis is also survived by his sons Todd M. Dyer and his wife Jeanne of Sterling, MA, and Jeffrey M. Dyer and his wife Dawn of Charlton, MA; his brothers Daniel Lynch of GA, Michael Lynch and his wife Rosie of FL, and Steve Lynch of FL; his sisters Colleen Ahearn and her husband Brian of NC, Robin Kehoe of NC, and Lori Lynch of FL; his grandchildren Colman Dyer, McKenna Dyer, of Sterling, MA, Olivia Dyer, and Grayson Dyer of Charlton, MA; as well as many other family relatives and friends.

Dennis worked as a computer product manager at various different companies throughout the years - CalComp, First Data, ADP, Digital and Compaq, until retiring from Hewlett-Packard in 2005.

In his younger years, Dennis enjoyed operating his ham radio. He always loved hunting and fishing, especially in his favorite parts of Northern Maine. After retiring, Dennis always looked forward to ATV riding and fishing at his camp in Warwick, MA.

Calling Hours for Dennis will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 10am-12pm, at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA. A Funeral Service will be held following Calling Hours on Friday, July 19, 2024, at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home; followed by a procession to Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, in Hudson, MA, for Committal Services with Honor Guard services presented by the United States Navy.
