Hudson, MA Dennis P. Garcia Jr., 77, a life long resident of Hudson, died on Friday, April 22nd at Marlboro Hospital. He was the husband of the late Marlene "Molly" (Johnston) Garcia who died in 2001.
He was born and raised in Hudson, son of the late Dennis P. Garcia Sr. and Mary (Freitas) Gracia. He attended local schools in Hudson and was a retired school bus driver, escorting students from Sudbury and Lincoln to school for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the Hudson Eagle's, Hudson Amvets, Marlborough Moose Lodge and member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson..
He is survived by his daughter, Gayle Newcomb of Madison, ME; his grandson, Dennis Cowdrey of Maine; his great granddaughter, Haley Garcia of Maine and his two nieces. He was predeceased by his grandson, Thomas Edward Garcia.
A graveside service and burial were held in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749
