Diane M. Murphy, 61, of Hudson, died on Sunday, Feb. 20th at UMASS Memorial Healthcare, University Campus in Worcester from injuries she sustained after being struck by a car in Hudson. She leaves her husband of 27 years, Timothy Murphy.
Diane was born and raised in Hudson, daughter of Albert and Clotilda (Marques) Geldart. She attended local schools and resided in Hudson all her life. She was formerly employed as a machine operator by Specialized Plastics Co. in Hudson for many years. Diane was an outgoing person who enjoyed shopping, long walks and socializing with her many friends.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her sister, Cheryl Boule of Florida and her brother, David Geldart of Hudson. She is also survived by her two best friends, Dorothy Gazzaniga and Linda White, both of Marlboro; her God Child, Amanda White and her sisters, all of Marlboro and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, Feb. 25th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
