Donald Wheeler, 81, died Saturday, February 5, 2005 at u-Mass Memorial, Marlboro Hospital. Born in Greenfield, MA son of Eldon and Eleanor (Hoyt) Wheeler.
Husband of Margaret E. (Mac Kenzie) Wheeler for 42 years. He is also survived by his
Children Dawn H. Mariani of San Diego, CA and Todd H. Wheeler and his wife Dawn
Of Coventry, CT. Mr. Wheeler also leaves behind his step children, Terry E. Lozouski of
Marlboro, Donald M. Sowden and his wife Debra of Hampton, VA, Scott W. Sowden and his wife Susan of Northborough, MA, and Keith A. Sowden and his wife Denise of
Hudson, MA. Mr. Wheeler is also survived by 13 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grand-
Children.
He was a graduate of Hudson High and earned his Bachelors Degree from Brown University graduating in 1963. He served as the CEO of Hudson Savings Bank from 1952 to 1979. Mr. Wheeler moved to Woodstock, CT in 1980 serving as President of
Brooklyn CT Savings Bank from 1980 to 1985. He was the past Master of the Doric
Lodge of Masons, he also served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He was
An avid fan of all professional sporting teams of N.E. and also enjoyed local sporting
Events throughout his life.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the
Federated Church, Central Street., Hudson, MA. Burial will take place at Rural Cemetery,
Southborough, MA at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in MR Wheeler's memory to the donor's choice
