Donna L. (Loureiro) DiPersio, 73, of Sutton, formerly of Hudson, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, after a long, courageous battle with lung disease. She is together again with her beloved husband, Thomas P. DiPersio, Sr., who predeceased her in 2015.
Donna was born on January 7, 1946, in Marlborough, a daughter of the late Manuel and Viola (Renaud) Loureiro. She was raised in Hudson, where she graduated with the class of 1963. She married the love of her life Thomas in 1967, and together they embarked on a 48 year marriage of love and happiness. Donna and Thomas co-owned and operated Thomas Land Surveyors, eventually retiring in 2014. For many years before moving to Sutton to be closer to their children, they lived in South Yarmouth.
Donna is survived by her three children, Thomas DiPersio, Jr. and his wife Catherine of Marlborough, Deena Gramstorff and her husband Chris of Sutton, and Richard DiPersio and his wife Nicole of Hudson; her siblings, Diane Brown and her husband Warren of Berlin, Steven Loureiro and his wife Jane of Bowerbank, ME; Lisa Stefanik of Wells, ME, Jason Loureiro and his wife Michelle of Boylston; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Manuel Loureiro, John Loureiro, David Loureiro, Laura Loureiro and Tish Benjamin.
Donna was happiest when hosting family vacations on cape cod with Tom, and truly cherished her time with her eight grandchildren, Jessica, Peter & Heidi DiPersio, Alyssa, Jake & Jennifer Gramstorff and Nicolas and Cole DiPersio.
Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Saint Michael Parish, 21 Manning St., Hudson, MA; followed by a procession to Saint Michael Cemetery in Hudson for interment.
