Doris W. Kelly, 82, of Hudson, MA died Saturday, December 15, 2007 in Nashua, NH at the home of her niece.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Ethel (Norwood) Kelly.
She was raised in Brighton, MA and was a graduate of Brighton H.S. She resided in Chicago, IL for 20 years prior to moving to Hudson.
She owned and operated Doris' Beauty Nook from her residence in Hudson where she was a hair stylist for 33 years until her retirement. She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson and loved the many pet poodles she cared for over the years.
She leaves her sister, Helen F. Rufo of Nashua, NH and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late, Evelyn Kelly, Ethel Landau, Pat Priest and John Kelly.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007 at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in Mount Hope Cemetery, Acton. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 20, from 11:00 to noon prior to the service in the funeral home.
