Dorothy M. Conway DeWolfe

Hopkinton, MA

Dorothy M. Conway DeWolfe, 84, of Hopkinton and former long time resident of Hudson, MA, died on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at her home. She was predeceased by her first husband Leonard Conway Sr. in 1966 and most recently was predeceased by her second husband James J. DeWolfe Sr.

Dorothy was born and raised in Waltham, daughter of the late Harry and Jean (Calabufalo) Odendhal. She spent many years in Hudson, raising her family and was employed as a supervisor for the Digital Equipment Corp. until her retirement. Dorothy and James spent more than 25 years in Florida until returning locally spending her last 5 years in Hopkinton. She was an active member of the former Christ King Parish in Hudson and later St. Michael’s Parish in Hudson.

She is survived by her two sons, Donald Conway and his partner Pam O’Brien of Clinton, MA and Robert Conway and his wife Christine of Sterling, MA. She was predeceased by her son Leonard Conway Jr. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren, Elisa Dickens and Donelle Owens, both of Georgia, Leonard Caira of Maine; her 4 great grandchildren; her daughter-in-law Liz Conway; her step children, James DeWolfe Jr., Joseph DeWolfe, John DeWolfe, Julie Phighetti, Jerry DeWolfe along with other relatives and close friends. She was the sister of the late Carmen Iagulli.

Dorothy had an endearing way with animals and cherished all the pets she cared for. She looked forward to relaxing at the beach whenever she could find a spare moment and spending time with family and friends was always special. The wonderful memories she leaves behind, “especially a clean home” will be cherished by all who loved and knew her.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 is assisting the family with arrangements.
