Dorothy H. DeVicent, 69, of Woodstock, CT, formerly of Holliston, MA, Pembroke Pines, FL and Port Richey, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Mass General Hospital in Boston.
Amongst her many loving survivors, she leaves behind her son, John P. Nanai and his wife Tracy of Plymouth, New Hampshire; her daughter Nicole L. Hutton and her husband Kenneth of Hudson, MA and two sisters Judy Rebston and Evelyn Limone.
Dorothy, a daughter of the late William and Gladys (Rogalski) DeVincent, was born in Stamford, CT, where she was raised and graduated from high school. She went on to marry John J. Nanai in 1969 and together they raised their children in Pembroke Pines, FL and later Holliston, MA. Dorothy worked for many years for the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office before her retirement in 2015. Dorothy loved spending time with her family and her dog “Sarge”. She will be dearly missed by those that knew her.
All services for Dorothy will be held privately. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749, is honored to be assisting with her arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in her name to: ASPCA, PO Box 96929
