Douglas N. Kimmens of Boylston, MA passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 10th after a courageous battle with cancer.
Doug owned Great Lengths Hair Salon in Marlborough, MA. He was a beloved hairdresser, advisor, and friend to many employees and clients over the 30 years he managed the salon. He cherished his time fishing, attending Patriots games, and visiting Cape Cod with his family and friends.
Doug is survived by his wife of 28 years Michele Rodil and his daughter Veronica Kimmens and her fiancé Nathen Wheeler, his mother, Shirley Kimmens, and his sisters Sheila Kimmens and Cheryl Kimmens Franke (Arthur), his mother and father in law Norbert and Jan Rodil, brother in law Marc Rodil (Susan) as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and cherished friends.
Internment arrangements will be private; however, Doug’s friends and family are invited to a celebration of his life on August 11th at 2:00 pm at 19 Cortland Drive, Hudson MA where we will share remembrances and stories celebrating him.
