Edna F. (French) Morgan, 93, of Hudson, died on Tuesday, Oct. 25th at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Leslie Morgan who died in 1959.
Edna was born in Greenfield, NH, daughter of the late Charles and Mabel (Denno) French. She was raised in Maynard where she attended local schools. She was a devoted nurse for several facilities locally for many years until her retirement.
Edna was the mother of the late Raymond Morgan and is survived her grandson, Raymond Morgan of Shrewsbury. She is also survived by her brother, George French of Naples, FL; two great nieces, Tara Lambert of Bonita Springs, FL and Marty Lintz of New York, NY; her great nephew, Michael Horan of Leominster along with many other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Charles French, Belle Pennimen and Irene McGee.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, Oct. 28th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com). Graveside services and burial in Greenvale Cemetery, Greenfield, NH will be held at the convenience of the family.
