Edward E. "Eddie" Timmons

Edward "Eddie" Edgar Timmons, of Hudson, Massachusetts, moved on from this life in the late morning of December 15, 2014, after a final visit with his loving wife. Born August 4,1941, Eddie was raised in Boston before serving in the US Army and Massachusetts National Guard. He then made a career with the MBTA where he served the community driving every type of vehicle in the fleet before becoming an MBTA Officer and Transit inspector. Eddie is survived by his wife, Sherry; foster siblings Jack, Patricia and Donna; sons Teddy and Brian; stepchildren Roger, Tammi, Terri, Troy, Charlotte, Christina and Coreena; and 19 grandchildren. Services will be held at the First Federated Church, 200 Central Street in Hudson, MA on January 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Jimmy Fund. Eddie loved his grandchildren and is now in heaven, telling jokes to his grandson Sebastian. Ay Chihuahua, Eddie! You will be missed.
