Eleanor E. (Wilton) DeAngelis, 81, of Gleasondale, formally of North Andover, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2006 after a period of declining health.
She was the wife of the late Febo DeAngelis who died in 1961.

She is survived by her son Ronald M. DeAngelis Sr. of Hudson, MA, her daughter in law Helen DeAngelis, whom was a caregiver for many years to Eleanor, of Hudson, MA and her grandson Ronald M. DeAngelis Jr. of Hudson, MA.

She is also survived by her brother George Wilton Jr. and his wife Norma (Byron) of Wichita, KS, her sister Amy DelleChiaie and husband Fred of Bradford, MA and her friend and caregiver Julie Boudreau of Hudson along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Born in North Andover, MA, she was the daughter of the late George and Harriett (Walton) Wilton. She moved to Gleasondale (Stow), MA in 1941 and was a graduate of the former Stow Hale H.S. She was employed for over twenty years by the former Cottage Flower Shop in Stow.

She enjoyed crafts, bingo and trips to both the Foxwoods and Atlantic City Casinos. Her most memorable and enjoyable moments were spending time at her summer home in Hampton Beach, NH for over 50 years.


A Funeral Service will be celebrated Saturday, December 23, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. A calling hour will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Stow, MA.
