Eleanor D. (Ainsworth) O'Hare, 84, of Hudson, formerly of Marlboro and Natick, died on Thursday, May 16th at the Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence in Wayland She was predeceased by her first husband, John T. Crowley in 1983 and her second husband, William O'Hare in 2000.
Eleanor was born and raised in Natick, daughter of the late William and Bernice (Handley) Ainsworth. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Natick High School. She spent 15 plus years as an auditor for the Natick Trust Co. until her retirement. She was a former member of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Marlboro and was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson. Eleanor was a devoted mother and grandmother and had a unique passion for helping people in need. She spent many years as a volunteer at Marlboro Hospital and will be remembered by all who knew her for her kind spirit.
She is survived by her two sons, John F. Crowley of Hauppauge, NY, Charlie Crowley of Hudson and her grandson, Colin Crowley of Marlboro. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Dumas of Massachusetts.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 20th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Natick. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Sunday, May 19th from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
