Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Rodoff) Allsobrooks, 89, of Hudson, formerly of Marlboro, died Sunday, Feb. 8th at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter K. Allsobrooks who died in 1991.
Betty was born and raised in Reading, PA, daughter of the late Irvin and Florence (Meintzer) Rodoff. She resided in Marlboro for many years before moving to Hudson where she has spent the past 26 years. Betty took great pride in the care of her home and raising her children. She always looked forward to spending time with her children and especially enjoyed the frequent playing of board games with her daughter.
Betty is survived by her son, Alan James Allsobrooks and his wife Brenda of Gardner and her son in-law Robert Wyckstrom of Vermont, husband of her late daughter, Connie Wyckstrom who died in 2010. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Mark Alan Wyckstrom of Lancaster, Heather Moschan and her husband Randy of Gardner, Patrick James Allsobrooks and his wife Missie of Gardner, Candice Lynn Allsobrooks of Gardner; her three adoring great grandchildren, Tyler, Jennie, Emily and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 5 brothers.
Family and friends may attend calling hours on Friday, Feb. 13th from 10:00 to 12:00 noon at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. A funeral service and celebration of Betty's life will follow at 12:00 noon in the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
