Elizabeth Ann "Bette" (Mellor) Bryant, 48, of Marlboro, died Saturday, April 5 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Christopher Bryant of Marlboro.
Born and raised in Natick, daughter of the late Richard Mellor and survived by her mother, Elizabeth (Carey) Mellor of Natick, she attended local schools and was a 1977 graduate of Natick H.S. She worked as a waitress and bartender for many years, most recently at Ken's Steak House in Framingham. Prior to Ken's Steak House she worked for White's Corner Restaurant in Southboro and the Union House Restaurant in Framingham. Bette enjoyed gardening in her spare time and loved spending time with her family, especially her children.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her children, Jessica Forrester of Hudson, Kelsey, Peter and Hayley Bryant, all of Marlboro; 2 sisters, Michelle Diamond of Marlboro, Judy Chapel of Tampa FL; 2 brothers, Richard Mellor of Boston, Alfred Mellor of Natick and her 2 grandchildren, Blake and Bella Forrester of Hudson. She also leaves her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 9, at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Baptist Church, 353 River Road, Hudson. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 8 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson.
