Elizabeth "Liz" M. (Terrasi) Cronin, 81, of Hudson, died Friday Sept. 3rd at Wingate at Sudbury. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Francis J. Cronin Jr. of Hudson.
Liz was born in Waltham and raised in Maynard, daughter of the late Luigi and Mary (Rice) Terrasi. She graduated from Maynard High School and has resided in Hudson with her husband for the past 57 years. She was employed as a customer service representative for the former Digital Equipment Corp. in Maynard for 15 plus years until she retired in 1991. She also worked for the former Arthur's Department Store in Hudson for many years. She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson. Liz enjoyed singing, dancing, bowling and arts and crafts as a hobby in her spare time.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her two children, Cathy Cutler and her husband Jack of Redding, Conn. and Francis Cronin and his wife Paula of Gardner. She is also survived by her two sisters, Marion Myers of Florida, Rose Simard of Arizona; her brother, Antonio Terrasi of Natick; her three grandchildren, John and James Cronin and Jeremy Cutler along with many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Louise Micklay and Madeline Anastas.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Sept. 7th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Monday, Sept. 6th from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
