Hudson, MA
Elizabeth (MacPhail) MacAulay, 81, of Hudson, formerly of Hull, died Thursday, Jan. 13th at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northboro. She was the wife of the late William A. MacAulay.
Born and raised in Boston, daughter of the late Murdock and Lorraine (Geddes) MacPhail, Elizabeth was a long time resident of Hull until moving to Hudson in 2001. She took great pride in the care of her home and enjoyed gathering with family, especially the many tea times with family and friends. She was an avid walker all her life.
She is survived by her two sisters, Grace Tompkins of Hudson and Joan MacKinnon of Cape Britton, Canada. She also leaves her many nieces and nephews and was the sister of the late, Charles and Russell MacPhail and Lorraine MacMillan.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, Jan. 17th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 18th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bourne National Veterans' Cemetery, Connery Avenue, Bourne, MA. Those attending should arrive at the cemetery processional area between 1:45 and 2:00 p.m.
