Elizabeth D. Morse, 80, of Hudson, died Saturday, February 25, 2006 at the Coleman House in Northborough. She was the wife of the late Raymond Morse who died in 2005. Born in Manchester, NH, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Burke) Lyons. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Manchester, NH were she received her degree in nursing as an RN. She was employed by the former Cushing Hospital in Framingham and later worked for the Shrewsbury Nursing Home for some twenty years until her retirement. She was a longtime resident of Hudson and enjoyed the many hours spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her three daughters Barbara Cuthbert of Morgantown, West Virginia, Lauren Herrick of Boylston, Cheryl Curran of Bolton and her son Brian Morse of Worcester. She is also survived by her siblings Marguerite Dumm of Texas, Helenor Glennon and Thomas Lyons both of Manchester, NH, fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Her funeral will be held from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc, (www.tighehamilton.com) 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749 Tuesday, February 28, 2006 with a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning street Hudson MA. Calling hours will be Tuesday, from 9:00 to 10:45 A.M. in the funeral home prior to the mass. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Ashland.
