Elizabeth L. Place, 72, of Hudson, died on Friday, May 29th at home. She was the wife of the late Daniel N. Place.
Born in Waltham, she was a graduate of Saint Mary's Catholic H.S in Waltham and was employed as a shift supervisor by CVS in Sudbury for many years. She was a member of the Hudson Senior Center and member of the First United Methodist Church in Hudson.
She is survived by her six sons, Donald Place of Gilroy, CA, Timothy Place of New Salem, NJ, Ronald Place of Waldoboro, ME, Jeffrey Place of San Ramon, CA, Randall Place of Hudson and Bruce Place of Bozeman, MT. She is also survived by her 15 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her son Daniel Place in 2002.
A memorial service will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 34 Felton Street, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 1st, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
