Eloise P. (McGorty) Wager, 62, of Maynard, formerly of Hudson, died Saturday, April 12 at Framingham Union Hospital.
Born and raised in Hudson, daughter of the late John and Eva (Fortin) McGorty, she was a 1963 graduate of Hudson Catholic H.S. She was employed by One Communications Corp. in Waltham in the accounting dept. She was a life member of the Hudson Amvets, post 208 Ladies Auxilliary.
She is survived by her former husband, Vernon Wager of Hudson; her son, Vern "Tony" Wager of Maynard and her daughter, Patrice Wager of Harker Heights, TX. She is also survived by her brother, Robert W. McGorty and his wife Jackie of Pennsylvania; 3 sisters, Marilyn A. Boudreau of Colorado, Carol J. Dudley and husband Roy of Stow, Maureen S. Carey and husband Landry of Marlboro; her sister in law, Rita Flaherty of Hudson and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late J. Richard McGorty.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, April 16, at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning St. Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 15 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson
