Ernest W. Mosher, 95, of Hudson died Tuesday March 3, 2009 at Marlboro Hospital.
Born in Dartmouth Nova Scotia he was the son of the late William and Mary (Shiers) Mosher. A carpenter he was a life member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local #475. He was a member of the National Guard for 12 years and a member of the local National Guard Union #27 as well as the 181st Infantry Veterans Association of Hudson. He was a life member of the United Brethren Lodge of Masons in Marlboro, the Hudson senior citizens center and AARP.
He was the beloved husband of Theoni (Angelo) who died in 2004. He is survived by a daughter Carole Barton and her husband Edmund of Hudson. He is also survived by his daughter in law Cecile Mosher of Worcester and sister in law Rita Mosher of Hudson. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Charles W. Mosher who died in 2005 and the brother of the late Walter Mosher, Charles Mosher, Evelyn Allsobrook and Muriel Parisi.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 7, 2009 at 10:30AM in the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Friday March 6, 2009 from 5:00 to 8:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
