Ettore E. Mancini, 85, died Friday, October 12, 2007 at Wingate at Sudbury Nursing Home in Sudbury, MA.
He was the husband of the late Mona (Bratkon) Mancini who died in 1984.
He was born in Bristol, RI, son of the late Adam and Jennie (Dinaitti) Mancini and resided in Hudson most of his life.
He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Coast Guard and was employed by the Marlboro Foundry Co. for 30 years until his retirement as a superintendent. He enjoyed golfing at the Stow Acres and Marlborough Country Club.
Mr. Mancini was the father of the late; Ettore Mancini Jr., Jenny Brown and brother of the late; Mary Adams, Caroline Schiappa, Michael, Joe, Al and Razamoe Mancini. He leaves 7 grandchildren, Brigette (Brown) Peterson, Jami Minard, Christopher Minard, Michael, Michelle, Nicholas and Ashley Mancini and 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 19, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church, 21 Manning Street Hudson, MA. Burial will be in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson, MA.
