Eugenia C. "Nina" (Correa) Lanigan, 77, of Hudson, died Friday, June 6 at her residence in Hudson.
She was the wife of the late John Lanigan who died in 1996.
She was born in Hudson, daughter of the late John and Maria (DiCarma) Correa and was employed by the Hudson Public Schools as an attendance officer for 25 years before retiring. She received a masters degree in Psychology at Framingham State College and was an active member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
She is survived by her son, Ralph Lanigan and his wife Evelyn of Hudson; her daughter, Carol Lamarr and her husband Donald of Mattapoisett; 2 sisters, Irene Dipietro of Hudson and Mary Pacheco of Albert, CO. She also leaves her 3 grandchildren, Kyle Lanigan Jr., Tyler Lanigan and Shawn O'Connor. She was the sister of the late Roy, Edmund, Joseph and Alice Correa.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 10, at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning St. Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
