Eva A. Robblee, 90, of Hudson, MA, formally of Stow, MA died Thursday, May 24, 2007 at the Summerhill Retirement and Assisted Living Center in Peterborough, NH.
She was the wife of the late Elton Robblee who died in 1992.
She was born and raised in Maynard, MA, daughter of the late John and Victoria (Glebus) Trunca. After marriage she resided in Stow, MA for 35 years and later resided in Hudson, MA for 25 years before moving to Rindge, NH in 2006.
She was a retired supervisor for the former Digital Equipment Co. of Maynard with whom she worked for 35 years. She also worked part time for Erikson's Ice Cream in Maynard. She was a former member of Saint Bridget's Church in Maynard. She was an avid reader of novels and enjoyed knitting and crochet, quilts being her favorite.
She is survived by her two sons, Edward Trunca and his wife Pamela of Nashua, NH and Stephen Robblee and his wife Elizabeth of Rindge, NH. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew Robblee, Victoria Trodella, Kimberly and Michael Trunca, Kevin Beck and 9 great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. (www.tighehamilton.com.) 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749 with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2007 in the funeral home. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Saint Bridget's Cemetery, Maynard, MA.
