Everett F. Brissette, 80, of Berlin, died Thursday, July 17, at his residence.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years Shirley (White) Brissette of Berlin.
He was born in Hudson, son of the late George and Margaret (McGrath) Brissette. He was a long time Berlin resident. He was the former facilities director, Town of Hudson School Dept. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II where he received the medal of Good Conduct.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his 1 son, Robert Brissette of Boylston and his stepchildren Michael, James and Jeffery Furmanick and stepdaughters Theresa Bullard, Debra Dees, and Michele Mayes. He also leaves 2 sisters Arlene Dubrowski and Irene Swanson of Hudson. One brother, Norbert Brissette of Michigan. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren including Blair and Ian Brissette, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday July 22, at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Joseph's The Good Provider Church, 52 West Street, RT. 62, Berlin, MA. Burial will follow in North Cemetery, Berlin. Calling hours will be held Monday, July 21 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com).
