Ezequiel M. Bettencourt, 83, died Thursday July 7, 2005 at Marlboro Hospital. Born in Graciosa The Azores he was son to the late Anibal and Palmira (Mendes) Bettencourt. Husband to the late Aureolina G. (Avila) Bettencourt who died in 2002. Survived by his sons Luis of Portugal, George, Paul, of Hudson, John of Tennessee, Nuno Bettencourt of California; Roberto Bettencourt of New Bedford; his daughters, Ivone Herincx, Fatima Souza, Helena Bettencourt all of Hudson and Teresa Bettencourt of Florida. Also survived by his brother Humberto Bettencourt of The Azores, his sisters Carmen Soares of Lisbon, Ofelia Bettencourt of The Azores; 21 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was the owner of Bettencourt Music Store located on Broad Street. His Funeral will be held from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc. 50 Central Street Hudson with a Funeral Mass at 9am Tuesday July 12, 2005 in St. Michaels Church 21 Manning Street Hudson. Calling hours will be held Monday July 11, 2005 from 5-8pm. Burial will be in St. Michaels Cemetery.
