Florence M. (Schonback) Leonard, 84, of Hudson, MA, died Friday, June 8, 2007 at Bolton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Marlborough, MA.
She was the wife of the late Clarence E. Leonard who died in 1984.
She was born in Revere, MA, daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Nuell) Schonback.
She was raised in Revere and later graduated from Abington H.S. She moved to Hudson in the early 1950's where she raised her family. Her many hobbies included tole painting, puzzles and reading. She also enjoyed yard work and shoveling snow with the cherished shovel she received from her children.
She is survived by her children, Ruth Leonard of Hudson, MA, Steve Leonard and his wife Maureen of Berlin, MA, and Gary Leonard and his wife Donna of Ashby, MA. She is also survived by her sister, Ruth Talvio of Strafford, NH and 2 grandchildren, Sarah, and Matthew Leonard.
Her funeral will be held at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. (www.tighehamilton.com.) 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749 with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2007 in the funeral home. Visitation will be Monday, June 11 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson, MA.
