Frances M. (Foti) Daigneault, 85, of Marlboro, formerly of Hudson, died Wednesday, Aug. 26th at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Frederick Daigneault who died in 2006 and mother of the late Karen Daigneault who died in 2003.
Frances was born in Marlboro, daughter of the late Frank and Philomena (Zilembo) Foti and resided in Hudson most of her life before moving to Marlboro in 2007. She was employed as a matron at the former Madona Hall for many years until her retirement.
Frances is survived by her niece, Patricia Foti Vas Concelos of Worcester; her nephew, Lawrence Foti and his wife Sue of Marlboro; her godson, Gary Foti of Atlanta, Georgia; her sister-in-law, Rose Foti, wife of the late Frank Foti of Milford and many great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late, Frank, Rocco and Nicolas Foti, Philomena Merrill and Mary Ann White.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, Aug. 31st at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Aug. 30th, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
