Frances S. (Sullivan) Day, 66, of Amesbury, formally of Baldwin, NY, died Sunday, July 8, 2007 at Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport, MA.
Born on Nov. 17, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Hogan) Sullivan.
She was a graduate of New York Foundling Hospital and spent many years taking care of patients in their homes. She was a very kind and spiritual person who loved her family and friends.
Beloved mother of daughters; Ann Marie Lourens and her husband Nick of Hudson, MA, Kathleen Hannan of Melrose, MA, Jennifer Khambatta and her husband Gustav of Hampstead, NH and son; Jay (Timothy) Hannan of Hudson, MA. She was the cherished grandmother of Kristen and Melissa Lourens, and Emerson and Zachary Khambatta. She is also survived by her brother, Raymond Sullivan and his wife Joan of Pine Island, NY; 2 sisters, Carol Johnson of Bayshore, NY, Rita Gipe and her husband Lloyd of St. Petersburg, FL, and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Christopher Day.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church, 21 Manning street Hudson, MA. Family and friends may attend calling hours Tuesday, July 10, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Amesbury, MA.
