Frances M. (Russo) Naugler-Cosenza, 96, of Marlboro, former longtime resident of Hudson, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, Nov. 18th at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center. She was the beloved wife of 29 years to the late Lester C. Naugler who died in 1965 and was predeceased by her former husband Salvatore Cosenza.

Frances was born and raised in Marlboro, daughter of the late Pasquale and Angelina (Santoro) Russo. She attended local schools and was employed as a clerk by the Doherty Tool Company in Southboro for many years. She also worked for the Hudson Savings Bank and was the Shoe Department Manager for the former Arthur's Department Store in Hudson prior to working at Doherty Tool Company. She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.

Frances had several hobbies including sewing, knitting and crocheting. Her passion was reading and cooking and she was a loyal and avid Red Sox fan. Most of all she cherished the time she spent with her family, especially later with her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered for the many years of love and laughter she provided.

She is survived by her son, Robert L. Naugler Sr. and his wife Michele of Naples, FL and was predeceased by her two daughters, Donna Naugler and Janice Douglas. She is also survived by her two step-children, Frank Cosenza and his wife Barbara of New Braunfels, TX, James Cosenza Sr. of Puerto Rico; her grandchildren, Robert L. Naugler Jr. and his wife Krista of Sterling, Michael Naugler and his wife Jennifer of Milford, Lori Morgan and her husband David of Meridan, ID, Christina Casaceli of South Carolina, Timothy Douglas and his wife Tonya of Excelsior Springs, MO, Je're Toms and her husband Darren of Eagle River, AK, Carol Cosenza and her partner Sal Di Cecca of Boston, Karen Majors and her husband Russell of San Marcos, TX, James Cosenza Jr. and his wife Danielle of Eliot, ME, Janet Gelinas and her husband Michael of Fitchburg; her 19 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mildred Enman, Esther Bellino, Ernest Russo Sr. and Rudolph Russo.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 23rd at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlboro. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Sunday, Nov. 22nd from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
