Frank F. Costabile, 79, of Hudson, died on Friday, Oct. 23rd at his daughter's residence in Marlboro surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Helen M. (Moran) Costabile on March 31st of this year.
Frank was born in Watertown, son of the late Vincenzo and Julia (Brunino) Costabile and raised in Brighton. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1952 and was a veteran of the Korean War. He and his wife Helen married in 1954 and moved to Hudson in 1963. He was employed by the former Inland Express in Marlboro for 30 plus years and later worked for the former Digital Equipment Corp. in Marlboro for 12 years until retiring. He was a long time member of the Teamsters Union and member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
He is survived by his son, Joseph Costabile and his wife Cynthia of Hudson; his daughter, Diane Milton and her husband Michael of Marlboro; his sister, Rita Longo of New Hampshire; his brother, Joseph Costabile of Wilmington; his four grandchildren, Brian and Debra Costabile of Grafton, Justin Milton of Marlboro, Corie-Lyn Vesquez of Providence, RI and his great grandchildren, Ella Grace Costabile and Adriana Vesquez. He also leaves many nieces and nephews and was predeceased by his 10 Siblings.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Oct. 28th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial with military honors will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 27th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
