Frank Wolik, Jr., 73, was born in June 1933 in Maynard, Massachusetts. He was the son of Frank F. Wolik and Dorothy Rose Wolik. He is survived by 4 nieces and 3 nephews. He is the brother of Henry, Chet, Sophia and Frances Wolik, all of whom predeceased him.
Frank attended the Maynard Public School system and graduated from Maynard High School. In December of 1952, Frank joined the U.S. Navy and after boot camp and training, was sent overseas to Korea. He was a radioman on a military aircraft. Engagements include: DEC, UNSM, KSM, and NDSM. He attained the rank of AT3. He was honorably discharged on December 5th, 1956 after serving four years with the Navy. Frank retired from AT&T and lived in Guilford, Connecticut until his death in August in 2006. His hobbies included computers and working on his truck. Frank and Virginia will be buried together in the family plot at Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson.
Calling Hours will be held on September 4th, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Tighe-Hamilton Regional Funeral Home located at 50 Central Street in Hudson, Massachusetts. Services will begin at 11 a.m. in the same building followed shortly after by a burial at Forestvale Cemetery.
