Gail M. (Stacey) Rivers, 59, of Hudson, died on Monday, March 7th at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Joseph J. Rivers of Hudson.
Gail was born in Marlboro, daughter of the late Sherman and Marie (Olson) Stacey and was a life long resident of Hudson. She was a 1969 graduate of Hudson High School where she was a member of the cheerleading squad. She later attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She was employed as a Supervisor of Manufacturing by the Bose Corp. in Framingham from 1986 to present. She enjoyed the many trips she took to Florida, spending time on the beach and was an avid Red Sox fan.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Casey Rivers of Hudson; her brother, Michael Stacey and his wife Diane of Hudson; her niece, Allison Stacey-Morgan and nephew, Michael Stacey, both of Hudson. She also leaves her loving cat "KIKI".
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 11th at 10:00 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 10th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
