Gemina "Gemma" (Vanzini) Kochanski, 87, of Hudson, died Wednesday, Feb. 10th at Bolton Manor Nursing Home in Marlboro. She was the beloved wife of Walter Kochanski who died in 1986.
Born in Hudson, daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Columbo) Vanzini, Gemma was employed for many years at the Hudson High School Cafeteria and later was employed by the Hudson Lock Co. in Hudson until her retirement.
She is survived by her children, Michael Kochanski of Leominster, Walter Kochanski Jr. and Joseph Kochanski, both of Hudson, Joan Johnson of Delray Beach, FLA and Mary Ann Leoleis of Hudson. She is also survived by her five Grandchildren; two Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Angelo, Mario and Helena Vanzini.
Funeral services and burial in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson, are being held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
