Gene J. Brideau

Gene J. Brideau, 73 of Hudson, passed away on January 14, 2018 at Marlboro Hospital.

Gene was born in Caraquet, New Brunswick, Canada to the late Exodus and Louisa (Albert) Brideau.

He leaves his wife Linda (Nelson) Brideau, they would have been married 51 years this coming May. He also leaves his brother-in-law and wife, Gary and Joanne Nelson of Bolton; sisters-in-law, Sandra Rauscher of Clinton, “Mimi” Brideau of N.C. and Carol Brideau of Arizona.

He leaves many nieces and nephews, John Rauscher of Clinton, Jerilyn Williamson of Princeton, Tim, John and Merideth Nelson, Lauraine and Michelle Brideau, Elaine, Roger, Paul and Gary Brideau and all of their spouses.

Gene worked at General Motors in Framingham for 24 years before the plant closed and many part time jobs until he retired in 2002.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 19, 2018, at Grace Baptist Church, 353 River Rd., Hudson, MA. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be at North Cemetery in Berlin following services.

Thanks to all the help from Marlboro Hospital, especially the ICU Unit, VNA in Southboro, Beaumont Rehabilitation in Westboro and Dr. Clifford Risk in Marlboro. Gene’s arrangements are being handled by TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME in Hudson.
