George S. Salser

George “Steve” Salser, age 60, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 8, 1963 to George and Judy Salser in Fair Lawn, New Jersey.

Steve was a graduate of North Allegheny High School, and went on to pursue his passion and love of the outdoors at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Forestry. He touched the lives of many with his humor and knowledge. He will be remembered for his compassion and kindness.

Predeceased by his father, George Salser, Steve is survived by his mother, Judith Salser. Steve’s siblings Alicia (David) Bowen, Felicia (Mike) Pakalnis and Jennifer (David) Hayes, remember him as a man who loved animals, loved to cook and was a voracious reader.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 1, 2024, from 2pm-4pm, at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, Massachusetts.

A reception will be held at his former home, where friends and family can share memories and comfort one another.
