Gerard J. Lindsey, Sr. 64 of Hudson passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, April 16, 2018. He leaves behind his beloved wife Paula (Brier) Lindsey.
Gerard was born in Boston, Ma on July 17, 1953, a son of the late Frank and Margaret (Stack) Lindsey. He was raised in Wellesley, Ma, where he graduated from high school in the class of 1971. Gerard later moved to Hudson with Paula and together they resided in town for the past 38 years. Gerard worked as a J2 custodian for the Natick public school department and he also owned and operated his own business Linco construction, installing tile floors and backsplashes.
Gerard was a family man who enjoyed spending time at home with his loved ones. He was a longtime member of the Hudson Riverside Rod and Gun Club and an avid New England Sports fan. Gerard also enjoyed playing darts in the Minuteman Dart League and spending time at the beach.
In addition to his loving wife Paula B. Lindsey, Gerard is also survived by his four children, Gerard “Gerry” Lindsey, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Michael Lindsey and his wife Lisa of Virginia, Frank Lindsey and his wife Lisa of Marlborough and Samantha Napoli and her husband Patrick of Hudson; his siblings Fran Archibald and her husband Bob of Florida, Jeanne Benoit and her husband George of Florida, Diane Luther and her husband Anthony of Connecticut, Albert Lindsey and his wife Barbara of Maine, Robert Lindsey of Maine and Steven Lindsey and his wife Betsy of Framingham; his sister-in-law Susan Lindsey of Natick; 8 Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Frank “Skip” Lindsey and his sister Margaret “Peggy” Anderson.
Calling hours will be held from 4-7 pm on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, Ma. A celebration of his life will be held at 10 am on Monday, April 23, 2018 in the funeral home; followed by a procession to Forestvale Cemetery for interment.
