Gloria M. (Luchini) Fiamingo, 91 of Bolton, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Rose Monahan Hospice, surrounded by her loving family after a period of declining health. She joins her husband of over 56 years Joseph L. Fiamingo, who predeceased her on November 5, 2004.

Amongst her many survivors Gloria leaves behind her son, Joseph M. Fiamingo and his wife LouAnn of Southport, NC; her two daughters, Gloria J. Turner and her husband John of North Brookfield and Katherine E. Fiamingo and her husband Matthew Scannell of Sterling; her sister Nina Rose of Rockland; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was also predeceased by her parents, Guido and Ermelinda (Bolgiano) Luchini and her brother, Leo Luchini.

Gloria was born in Boston, MA. She was raised with her brother and sister in Quincy, MA and graduated from North Quincy High School. She later married the love of her life Joseph and together they moved to Sommerville for a time before eventually settling in Bolton where they lived for 54 years and raised their family. Gloria worked as a Quality Control Inspector for Data General and GTE for many years before she eventually retired.

Gloria was a caring and happy person whose contagious smile would brightened the room wherever she was. She loved people and greeted everyone with a warm embrace. Her positive spirit and ability to see the good in people made people naturally feel comfortable in her presence. Gloria was a talented artist, who enjoyed drawing and creating beautiful crocheting pieces for her loved ones. She was also an active member of the Bolton Senior Center for many years.

Friends and relatives are invited to a period of calling hours from 3pm until 6pm on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9am on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Saint Michael’s Parish, 21 Manning St. Hudson, MA; followed by a procession to South Cemetery in Bolton for final committal services.
