Gloria A. Sarsfield (Boutwell), 79, of Hudson passed away on Sept 26th surrounded by family and loved ones.
She was born on Aug. 26, 1932, the daughter of Roland and Gertrude (LeRou) Boutwell. She was married to the late Leonard C. Sarsfield for 43 years and is survived by 2 brothers, Roland Boutwell of Georgia and Donald Boutwell of Marlboro. She was the sister of the late Stanley, Lyle and Kenneth Boutwell and Nina Mauro.
She retired from Digital Equiptment Corp in 1991 and was active in the Hudson Senior Center. She enjoyed traveling, knitting and crochet.
She will be deeply missed by her children Leonard G. Sarsfield and his wife Renee of Falmouth, Donna Colleton and her friend Drew Mayberry of Clinton, Alan R. Sarsfield and his wife Elaine of Albermarle, NC, Ricky J. Sarsfield and his wife Carol of Charolette, NC and Terri L. Stephens and her significant other John Guertin of Holden. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, Dawn Marie Colleton, Heather Sarsfield, Griffin Sarsfield, Tara Colleton, Sheila St. Germain, Paul Sarsfield, Shawn Sarsfield, Ryan Sarsfield, Chad, Tyler, Nathan and McKenna Stephens and 9 great grandchildren, Michael St. Germain, Brittany Rickson, Zachary and Dakota Colleton, Luke, Isiah and Jordan Sarsfield, Mai and Payton Sarsfield.
Family and friends may attend a calling hour on Wednesday, Sept. 28th from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Marlboro.
