Gordon Charles Knorr, 94, of Berlin passed on January 26, at his home.
He was born on May 30, 1925, in Worcester, to Clarence and Alice (Ward) Knorr.
Gordon worked for many years at the Worcester Telegram and Gazette as a paper handler in the printing division before retiring. He served the Town of Berlin as a volunteer Lieutenant in the Berlin Fire Department.
Gordon was a World War II veteran and was among the many men that landed on Normandy on D-Day.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Knorr, and his son, David Knorr. He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Deasy, of Arizona, and Donna Turpin, of New Hampshire, two grandsons and four great grandsons.
