Grace E. (Hopkinson) Rivers-82-died Friday, February 10, 2006 at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston. Born in Newton, MA, daughter of Charles and Grace (Langdale) Hopkinson, she was the wife of the late William J. Rivers who died in 1987. She was a resident of Hudson for the past twenty three years. She enjoyed watching her favorite television shows at home and watching sports on television also. She spent much of her time staying in contact with relatives and friends on the telephone.
She is survived by her three sons Kenneth Rivers of Tampa FL, Richard and Dana Rivers both of Hudson. She is also survived by her five step children Sandra Bogeonovich of Chicopee Falls, MA, James Rivers of NH, Carol Rivers of Cape Cod, William Rivers Jr. of Northborough and Joseph Rivers of Hudson. She leaves her two sisters Patricia Norton of Newton, MA, Alice Woodland of NH along with several grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A service will be held at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749 Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Calling hours will be held Monday, February 13, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson
