Hazen E. Beals 67, of Hudson, formerly of Hopkinton, MA, died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at his residence in Hudson.
Born in Blaine, ME, he was the son of the late Cleveland Beals and Mina (Noble) Beals of Worcester, MA, formerly of Blaine, ME.
He was a self employed Sheet metal fabricator. He was a member of the Eastern Draft Horse Assoc.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his former wife Barbara (Gullifer) Beals of Hudson; his children, Danny Beals and his wife Mary of Milford, MA, Bart Beals and his wife Marsha of Hudson, MA, Lee Beals and his wife Ann of Shrewsbury, MA, Denise Lake and her husband Tom of West Boylston, MA Todd Beals of Grafton, MA, and Shanna Spencer and her husband Eric of Worcester, MA. He is also survived by his sister, Judy Roiko of Leominster, MA; 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church, 353 River Rd. in Hudson, MA. Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours Friday, Nov. 2, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. (www.tighehamilton.com) 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
