Heather’s boyfriend of three years, who she loved with all of her heart, shared these words in a note to Heather early in their relationship: “Good Morning. Thank you for the bracelet. Later when you get home I will have hugs and kisses for you, as always. Meow Man” ~ Jonathan Rollins
Heather has enjoyed and loved her life-long friends who would like to include a few heart-felt words:
To be loved by Heather was one of life’s greatest gifts. She had the ability to change sorrow into laughter, no matter the circumstance. ‘Her absence is like the sky, spread all over.” C.S. Lewis ~ Jacqueline Bouvier
Heather, my cousin and best friend, and myself grew up together; spending summers in the pool, going on adventures, playing dress-up, and talking about boys. We were born two days apart, but I always looked to Heather for what was cool or in style! We were always laughing or joking, and we both had a temper, so it was always interesting! I will miss her laugh, her free spirit, and her big heart!! ~ Alexandra Johnson
Heather knew how to turn any moment into an adventure; her imagination and creativity filled our lives with laughter, wonderment, and usually a clever jingle. “Giddy up.’ ~ Amanda (Lambert) Spann
Whenever I think of Heather, I get immediate feelings of nostalgia. I cherish the innocent memories of our childhood together, watching Disney movies and musicals, and choreographing dances in our My Size Bride Barbie dresses. Even as we grew, she remained young at heart, and I’ll forever miss her free spirit. ~ Emily (Lyons) Smith
It is hard to condense what Heather meant to me in a few sentences because I can never have enough wonderful things to say about her. When we first met at a party, Heather, a stranger at the time, stood up for me when bullies made me their target. Our lives intertwined again when we found ourselves co-teaching a classroom together at Post Road KinderCare, in Marlboro. We became fast friends and she taught me a lot. She was Beautiful, Smart, Kind, Thoughtful, Gentle and possessed a comedic wit that was unparalleled. Not only will I miss her as a co-worker, but even more so as my very good friend. She is already tremendously missed. ~ Marshall Schofield
