Helen E. (Spencer) Therrien, 74, of Honolulu, HI, formally of Hudson, MA, died Friday, August 10, 2007 in Honolulu, HI.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard Therrien Sr. of Honolulu, HI.
She was born in Hudson, MA, daughter of the late Edward and Caroline (Barker) Spencer.
She was a graduate of Hudson H.S., class of 1952. She was a former employee of the Hawian Gold Chain Co., a manufacturer of gold chains.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Sherry Forleo, Sheila Therrien, Richard Therrien Jr. and Raymond Therrien all of Millbury, MA. She is also survived by her brother, Walter Spencer of Hudson, MA; her sister, Irene Welton of Marlborough, MA; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister to the late Harold Spencer and Shirley McCarthy.
A funeral service celebrated by the Rev. Cliff Davis of the Millbury Federated Church will be held Thursday, September 6, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. (www.tighehamilton.com.) 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will be in the Brookside Cemetery in Stow, MA. There are no calling hours.
