Helene J. (Kania) Moziek, 95, of Hudson, formerly of South Hadley died Friday, Sept. 17th at Marlboro Hospital. She was the wife of the late John Moziek who died in 1984.
Born and raised in Holyoke, daughter of the late Stanley and Pauline (Krol) Kania, Helene resided in South Hadley most of her life until moving to Hudson to reside with her daughter the past 10 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Zagura of Hudson; her brother, Fred Kania of Holyoke; her five grandchildren, Lisa Zagura of Newton, Lynne Zagura Espino of Shrewsbury, Krisha Zagura Risley of California, Jillian Zagura Cunha of Millbury, Zachary Zagura of Hudson and her great grandson Cameron Espino.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Sept. 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Mater Dolorosa Church, 71 Maple Street, Holyoke, MA. Burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, South Hadley, MA. Calling hours will be held on Monday, Sept. 20th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
