Howard R. Dalrymple, 75, of Marlborough, formally of Hudson, MA, died Friday, July 27, 2007 at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center in Marlborough.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothie (Varga) Dalrymple of Marlborough.
He was born in Brattleboro, VT son of the late Charles N. and Alice F. (Haliday) Dalrymple.
He was a former employee for the town of Hudson, he briefly was employed by the former Poplin's Furniture store in Hudson, and was employed by the Chapel Hill Apartment Complex as a custodian until he retired.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Janice James of Rolla, MO and Brian Dalrymple of Shrewsbury, MA. He is also survived by his brother Harris Dalrymple of Hudson, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was father to the late Linda Dalrymple who died in 1973 and brother to the late Hazel Ray who died in 1996 and the late Roger Dalrymple.
His funeral will be held from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. (www.tighehamilton.com.) 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749 with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2007 in the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson, MA. Family and friends may attend calling hours Thursday, August 2, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
