Ida A. (Benotti) Klee, 88, of Northboro, formerly of Sudbury, died Tuesday, Feb. 2nd at Beaumont at Northborough. She was the wife of the late Harold E. Klee Sr. who died in 2000.
Ida was born in Weston, daughter of the late Antonio and Anna (Christofori) Benotti and was a graduate of Weston High School and later graduated from Burdett Junior College. She was employed as a typist by the Raytheon Co. in Wayland for many years and later was employed as an office secretary at Lincoln Sudbury High School until she retired. Ida enjoyed playing cards, was an avid football fan, enjoyed her occasional rounds of golf and most of all enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Beverly Longtine and her husband Thomas of Clinton, Judith Ann Astbury and her husband Allan of Westminster, Harold E. Klee Jr., husband of the late Janet Klee of Marlboro and Russell Klee and his wife Debra of Midway, GA. She is also survived by her three sisters, Lena Carlman, Alda Carmisciano, and Louise Moore, all of Florida; ten Grandchildren; fourteen Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, Feb. 5th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Funeral services and burial in New Town Cemetery, Sudbury will be held at a later date.
