Ida S. (Siegert) Loiselle, 75, of Hudson, died on Saturday, October 6th at her home surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind her loving daughter and son-in-law, Ilona and Richard Rodgers of Hudson.
Ida was born and raised in Freihung, Germany, daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (Meindl) Siegert. She moved from Germany to Hudson in 1972 and worked as a waitress for many years. She had a passion for caring for her family and they will remember her entrepreneurial spirit. Ida loved gardening and crocheting for her family in her spare time. She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
Ida is also survived by three sisters, Magdalena Siegert, Renate Siegert and Bernadette Simon, all of Germany; her three grandchildren, Matthew, Michael and Kristina Rodgers, all of Hudson; her two great grandchildren, Joseph and Owen Rodgers and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her great grandson, Jason Allain and her siblings, Robert Siegert, Egon Siegert, and Marianne Walcher.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 11th at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial services will follow at Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend a calling hour on Wednesday, October 10th from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
