Irene (Schreiner) Guyette, 84, of Hudson, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 17th at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northboro. A native of Germany, she is predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Donald E. Guyette.
An avid seamstress, Irene was employed for more than 30 years at the former Thomas Taylor and Sons of Hudson.
She loved animals, and took great pride in her home on Old Bolton Rd. in Hudson, where the couple resided since 1967.
She leaves several nephews and nieces, a close sister-in-law, Jacqueline Loconsolo of Worcester, and very dear friends John and Anne LaMarche and family of Hudson.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, Aug. 20th at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Relatives and friends may attend a visitation prior to the mass on Friday, Aug. 20th from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at the: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
